The show features a variety of luchadors, including six female luchadores. It also has some interesting elements, such as the Ancient Conspiracy, which involves Aztec medallions.
The show also features a lot of fantastical elements, such as a character named Dario Cueto, who is a chaos agent who runs Lucha Underground events. He may have a supernatural agenda, but it’s unclear. He can also introduce dangerous weaponry and other illegal constraints.
While the Lucha Underground wrestling roster is made up of 36 male wrestlers, the show also features women. There are two main female characters, Taya and Ivelisse, and they are able to win matches against larger men.
